Help Us Save Mission Money and our Environment!
We want to make
a special effort this year to expand the membership of our district email
list...and to encourage as many as possible of our email list members to receive
our quarterly district newsletter by email only, and be removed from our paper
newsletter mailing list.
To the extent that our members are willing to receive both our district
newsletter via email only (and even the conference newsletter)...we can realize
significant savings of postage and printing costs, and make our Mission Giving
dollars go further. And, we can also make a difference for our environment!
Here's how that works...if
you join the SAVE POSTAGE list for the Charlotte District, each
time a new newsletter issue is released you will receive an email with a link
directly to that issue...just like the Charlotte District newsletter link shown
above. You can read the issue on your screen, or print all or portions of it as
you choose. We will remove you from the paper mailing list, and you will only
receive the newsletter via email.
The conference newsletter (the Conference Gram)
SAVE POSTAGE
list will work the same way. When a new conference newsletter is posted on our
website, you will receive an email with a link directly to that issue. And,
joining the SAVE POSTAGE list will mean that you will be removed from the paper
mailing list.
Are

so...just follow the instructions shown below to update your profile.
Also...do
you know other officers, circle leaders or members of your local unit that might
like to join our email list?
Share this email within your local unit...and invite them to join! Anyone can
join our email list by going to our website at
www.wnccumw.org and
clicking on the button at the top of our home page that says "Join Our Email
List". You can also
pass
around a sign-up sheet in your local unit, send
it to the address shown on the form, and we will be glad to add those persons.

Here's how: 1. Just click on the link near the very bottom of your email (in the small print footer) that says "Update Profile/Email Address". That will take you directly to a screen where you will be asked to re-enter your email address. Then an email will be sent to you with a link to click on to "Update your profile". When the email arrives, click on the "Update your profile" link, and that will open your profile so that you can edit it. 2. Once in your profile, check the boxes next to any additional lists that you would like to join...like the SAVE POSTAGE list for our Charlotte District newsletter, and the SAVE POSTAGE list for the Conference Gram. 3. Be sure that your profile is complete...and includes your complete mailing address, your district, and your local unit. That will help us to be sure we remove you correctly from the paper mailing lists. 4. Finally...click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of your profile screen to save the updates to your profile. 5. It will be very helpful if you can complete this process yourself. That will be the best way for us to be sure that your complete profile information is correct. But, if you have difficulty...just reply to this email and request to be added to the SAVE POSTAGE lists...and we will be glad to add you. |
