Every United Methodist Woman touch someone in poverty
• Attend School of Christian Mission
• Read books dealing with poverty from UMW Reading program
• Tutor
• Join Social Action Network
• Get involved with local agencies that help the poor
• Get involved in Bethlehem Centers

2012 Conference Financial Goal

Conference Financial Goal:  To increase personal pledges by at least $1.00

2012 Conference Social Action Goal

To Raise awareness of domestic violence and increase advocacy for victims.

The PURPOSE of United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
