Children's Sabbath

Are you Planning a Children's Sabbath Observance at your Church?

The National Observance weekend for Children's Sabbath for 2011 is October 14-16, 2011.  But...any time during the year that you can observe Children's Sabbath at your church will be great!

Mission Today Criteria #14 is related to Children's Sabbath:  The unit will cosponsor, with the local church, a Children's Sabbath. (This is a worship service highlighting the needs of children.) The Women's Division and the Council of Bishops support this effort. Contact Children's Defense Fund for materials at 25 E. St. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Telephone 202-628-8787

NEW!  The Children's Defense Fund has made available a free PDF download of the complete 2011 Children's Sabbath Manual:
